My stay at Xinxiang Yayuan was an overall good experience. The staff were exceptionally accommodating and friendly, going out of their way to help with everything from early breakfasts to bicycles for exploring the city. However, the room we stayed in was a bit small for a family with two kids, and the beds were uncomfortably hard (definitely felt like rocks!). Despite these minor setbacks, the authentic charm of this boutique hotel makes it a place I would recommend.

The Loft Quadruple Family Room was charming but a bit cramped for a family of four. The beds were incredibly hard, which was less than ideal for a good night's sleep.

The location was fantastic—close to major attractions and nestled in an authentic neighborhood, but my room was a bit noisy at times. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service, which made up for some of the downsides. Overall, a pleasant experience that offered a taste of real Beijing.
